Khatta Meetha Kaddu Recipe

This is one of the easy dry curry which you can make in under 20 mins or so. There are only few spice powders added in this, but it taste really good. This dish is called as khatta meetha kaddu.

Khatta means sour, meetha means sweet and kaddu means pumpkin..So it is sweet and sour pumpkin..The sourness comes from the amchoor powder and sweetness comes from pumpkin and sugar. If you don't have amchoor powder, you can add little tamarind or lemon juice.

Aarthi, I'm so glad I found your blog. I will be trying this recipe today, in hopes of recreating my grandmother's pumpkin curry recipe. I can't wait to try some of your other recipes. Thank you for including the step-by-step photos, and for also including the translation of the words khatta, meetha, and kaddu.
